Jill was born in Lancaster and raised in the Antelope Valley. She graduated from AV High School in 1983 on the Honor Roll and from AV Community College in 1985. She was involved in many school, church and community organizations and events. (Among them Miss Lancaster in 1982, a debutante with the Alpha Charter Guild in 1983 and worked for the City of Lancaster Parks & Recreation Department throughout high school and Jr. College.) She left the Antelope Valley to attend California State University Long Beach, graduating with a BA in Radio/TV/Film and a Minor Degree in Marketing in 1988.
Jill spent 10 years working in television production, working primarily as a Production Coordinator on such shows as Knots Landing, Dallas, Sisters, George Carlin Show, Mad TV and the Bonnie Hunt Show. After brief living stints in Australia and England, Jill moved to San Francisco where she worked as a Real Estate & Facilities Manager for high-tech and software companies. "It was great working in that arena during the high-tech 'boom & bust'. What valuable business experience! Amongst other things, I opened offices across the country for high-tech companies, negotiating leases, project managing tenant improvement build-outs and setting up the office operations and staffing. I spent quite a bit of time traveling, mostly to New York, Chicago and L.A. After September 11, 2001, I felt the need to put down some roots and create a home for myself, with a quality of life I truly desire."
Jill has been a licensed Realtor since June of 2002. She is a member of the National and California Associations of Realtors, G.A.V.A.R. (our local board of Realtors) and S.R.A.R. (Southland Regional Association of Realtors.) She is currently very active in her local Association and is proud to hold a position as Director on the Board of Directors. She's also on the Local Government Relations Committee and Grievance Committee, and is chairwoman for the City of Lancaster General Plan Update task force.
Jill is very involved with her church and focuses her time working with the High School Ministry ("Summer camp white water rafting and camping in Oregon was awesome!!!") Jill is a member of the Alpha Charter Guild to Antelope Valley Hospital and also loves to snow & water ski and play golf.
Jill's career path, travels, business experience and community involvement have more than prepared her to be an expert in the world of Real Estate. "My greatest strengths are working with people in a professional, communicative and very personal way. I am skilled in troubleshooting potential problems, negotiations for fair and maximization of results and I'm extremely organized. I strive to give people exceptional and personal service which will make their overall Real Estate experience rewarding, successful and even enjoyable."
"I'm proud to be a Realtor in the Antelope Valley. We have such a beautiful, thriving and promising environment with a really great quality of life. I've been fortunate to live in some beautiful and exciting places. I appreciate the value and rewards of living here. I have a history here. This is my home. It's great to be able to be close to my dad, go to my Godson's baseball games and work in an industry that's thriving in a community that has so much to offer. It's important to me to be truly connected to a community through business, church, family & friends, and community organizations. I want to give back to the place and people who have given me so much."
"I'm really happy to be back "home" in the Antelope Valley. I'm making "Home Sweet Home" a reality for myself as well as others. What a blessing that is!" |
